General Maintenance & Grounds Technician — Hospitality Evolved (Cape Town)

Hospitality Evolved is expanding our on-site facilities support team and we're looking for a reliable, hands-on General Maintenance & Grounds Technician.

This role will support multiple managed buildings within Cape Town CBD and surrounds, focusing on upkeep, first-line repairs, and ensuring clean, safe, well-presented common areas.

Key Responsibilities:


• Basic plumbing (taps, traps, leaks, unblocking)


• Light electrical (bulbs, plugs, breakers – no CoC work)


• Doors, hinges, locks, minor carpentry and repair work


• Painting, patching, sealing, and touch-ups


• Grounds and common-area cleaning and upkeep


• Assisting with routine site checks and reporting maintenance needs

Schedule:


• Monday to Friday + every second weekend


• Occasional call-outs when required (standby/overtime arrangements apply)

Requirements:


• Practical experience in maintenance, grounds work, or building care


• Able to work independently and complete tasks neatly and professionally


• Good communication skills and reliability


• Driver's licence: Not required (advantageous)
