Hire Resolve is a leading recruitment agency that is currently seeking a Finance Manager to join their client's team in the Mining industry. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring financial stability and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports in compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards.
  • Manage banking relationships and handle statutory compliance including VAT, Income Tax, Royalty, etc.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Coordinate and prepare annual business plans and executive reports.
  • Handle audit processes, including drafting and reviewing financial statements and coordinating with external auditors.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls and financial systems.
Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant Degree.
  • Certification in Pastel/SAGE or VIP Payroll/SAGE is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a finance role, with at least 5 years in a mining environment highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, banking, and statutory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle audits, including drafting and reviewing financial statements.
