Data Scientist – SAS Specialist

Ready to take your analytical power to the next level?

We're looking for a curious, high-energy Data Scientist whose love for SAS analytics sets them apart. In this hands-on role, you'll join a team that thrives on making sense of massive datasets, solving chunky business problems, and turning insights into impact. Here, you won't just crunch numbers; you'll drive innovation, shape decisions, and show why SAS remains king in enterprise analytics.

What you'll do:

  • Model Like a Pro:
     Build and deploy robust statistical and machine learning models using SAS, plus play with Python, SQL, and leading cloud platforms.
  • Explore & Explain:
     Dive deep into data, uncover patterns, run A/B tests, and translate analytics into strategies everyone understands.
  • Visualize with SAS:
     Use SAS Visual Analytics (as well as Tableau and Power BI) to craft dashboards and bring data stories to life for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Engineer Excellence:
     Own the data pipeline—from wrangling raw datasets to prepping flawless analysis-ready data.
  • Collaborate & Innovate:
     Team up with business analysts, product managers, and engineers to transform problems into creative, measurable solutions.

What you bring:

  • Honours or higher in Data Science, Stats, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
  • Advanced SAS programming chops—and you love squeezing every insight possible out of big data.
  • Skilled in Python, SQL, and familiar with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong stats, modelling, and experiment design knowledge.
  • Sharp communication—you can tell complex stories simply, bringing colleagues along for the data journey.
  • Critical thinking and a get-it-done attitude.

Bonus points if you have:

  • A Master's/PhD in quantitative fields.
  • Experience designing standout dashboards in SAS Visual Analytics, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Exposure to Spark, Hadoop, or similar Big Data frameworks.
