ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Cleaner to join the team at Reddam House Ballito from January 2026. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation of the school's facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the school premises, including classrooms, offices, corridors, and restrooms.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in all assigned areas.
• Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules as directed by the Head of School or Facilities team.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored appropriately.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Support the school team in maintaining a professional and orderly environment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A minimum of 2 years' cleaning experience, preferably in a school or similar environment.
• Good understanding of cleaning practices, hygiene standards, and use of cleaning materials.
• Proficiency in spoken English to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
• A positive attitude and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• A willingness to adapt to change and contribute to a team environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset and commitment to the school's values.
