Key purpose:

As a Senior O365 Engineer, you will work in an agile environment with the ability to use your skills to support multiple client projects at once. You'll be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that are

high-performance and highly scalable across Azure cloud infrastructure. You'll design, build, test and maintain applications based on Microsoft's technology stack (Azure), including their Service Fabric application platform; SQL Server database engine; Windows Presentation Foundation framework; .NET Framework 4.5/4.6/4.7/3.5/2k15; RESTful web services using JSON or XML format (HTTP); Silverlight 5 UI controls and other web technologies such as HTML, CSS and JavaScripts.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • The Senior O365 Engineer position is responsible for scoping, assessment, planning, designing, and technical documentation for the implementation of the Clients Office 365 and all of its related core technologies including AAD, Exchange, Teams, AAD Connect, Federation, Guest users, and Viva suite
  • Take ownership of technical discussions, drive the technical decision, and architect the
  • solution. Ensure technology and architecture align with the book of standards and IT security policies
  • Look for opportunities to support our mission, automation, efficiency & simplification
  • Expert resource in architecting, designing, and implementing O365 and 3rd party application integration
  • Expert in designing, and implementing Office information protection, data loss prevention sensitivity labels, advanced office message encryption, Conditional access, and app protection polices
  • Design and, implement email protection system, email security gateways, email encryption, GAL sync, email archive, and retention policy
  • Design and implement guest user creation, invitation, access control, and user lifecycle management
  • Expert on compliance center, litigation hold, retention policy, auditing, and eDiscovery
  • Highest level of escalation for support and troubleshooting in resolving problems and responding to relevant M365 tickets
  • Analyse customer requirements and business demands to assess design/technology alternatives and propose solutions
  • Collaborate with other teams and vendors to develop and implement new solutions to meet business requirements
  • Facilitate, present, and lead technical discussions with technical SMEs as well as customers and other stakeholders

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field required
  • 8 years of Office 365 experience
  • High expertise in Microsoft Azure
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, Power app, and automation
  • Experience in software development expertise in Windows PowerShell scripting
  • Expert in Conditional access, App protection, and Defender Cloud app Security
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Graph API, Power app, and automation
  • Covers various components within the framework such as Windows Process and Service Management, Windows file systems, and Active Directory
  • Provides technical direction for team members on the technology infrastructure for IT operations
