Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site SWIFT Specialist role based in Pretoria. The SWIFT Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing SWIFT messaging services and platforms. Key tasks include configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting SWIFT interfaces, ensuring secure and efficient communication with financial institutions. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with teams to integrate SWIFT solutions, supporting system updates, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SWIFT messaging, financial messaging systems, and related protocols
- Experience with configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of SWIFT interfaces
- Strong skills in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems integration
- Understanding of compliance standards, financial regulations, and security measures
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage and track incidents
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities for collaboration with diverse teams
- Previous experience in financial services or payment systems is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
