Workshop Foreman

Minimum Requirements:

Education and experience:

· Qualified Diesel Mechanic.

· Experience on trailers and taillights.

· Valid Code 14.

· Experience at supervisor level.

· Computer literate – MS office.

Skills and Knowledge:

· Develop and maintain a sound relationship with suppliers.

· Manpower utilization.

· Need to be able to work shifts.

· Medical fit.

Job specification - Key Performance areas:

· Oversee and implement the fleet maintenance.

· Manage stock levels and the purchase and replacement parts and equipment.

· Manage performance of a shift or skilled and semiskilled artisans.

· Ensure successful implementation, monitor and management of SHEQ PROCEUDERES.

· Attend to breakdowns and implement maintenance schedules.

· Ensure housekeeping is to standard.

· Monthly toolbox talks.

· Monthly inspection of all workshop tools and technician tools.

· Ensure load testing is done annually.

· Load testing of all workshop tools.

· Ensure timesheets and attendance registers is up to date daily.

· Quality inspections daily.

· Manage job cards and submit for closing of job cards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to R20 000,00 per month
