A leading hospitality group in Limpopo is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of hospitality finance operations, and the ability to manage the full accounting function with accuracy and efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
  • Oversee cost controls, revenue tracking, and financial performance within the hospitality environment.
  • Ensure the accurate processing of invoices, payments, and supplier accounts.
  • Monitor and reconcile bank accounts, cashbooks, and POS systems.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including VAT, tax returns, and audits.
  • Liaise with internal departments and External Auditors.
  • Implement and maintain effective financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide financial insights to management and support operational decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5–10 years' experience in an accounting role, with at least 3 years at a senior level.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality revenue systems, stock control, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
