About the Role
We're looking for a dynamic, results-driven leader to spearhead our KZN Strategic Business Unit.
This role sits at the crossroads of leadership, sales, and clinical excellence—driving growth across our ophthalmic product portfolio while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You'll lead a motivated team, build lasting relationships with surgeons and hospitals, and play a pivotal role in expanding Envision Africa's presence across the region.
What You'll Do
- Drive Growth:
Lead the SBU to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and unlock new opportunities. - Lead the Team:
Inspire, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team with a strong culture of accountability and excellence. - Strengthen Relationships:
Cultivate trusted partnerships with surgeons, hospitals, and key accounts, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and loyalty. - Execute Strategy:
Develop and implement regional sales and marketing plans aligned with company objectives. - Support Clinically:
Provide in-theatre product and equipment support, ensuring smooth surgical workflows and optimal patient outcomes. - Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Partner with marketing, operations, and technical teams to deliver seamless service and drive regional initiatives. - Monitor & Report:
Analyse performance data, track KPIs, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related field (preferred).
- 4+ years' experience in medical device or healthcare sales, including leadership responsibilities.
- Proven success in developing and executing growth strategies.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and data-driven sales management.
- Clinical support experience within ophthalmology or surgical environments advantageous.
