Are you a solutions-driven Data Scientist or Analyst with strong Qlik expertise and a passion for building and optimising predictive models? Here's your chance to make a measurable impact in the credit analytics space.

A leading financial solutions consultancy in Cape Town is looking for a dynamic professional who thrives on turning complex data into actionable insight. You'll join a collaborative team that designs and refines credit and capital models driving strategic business decisions across South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, enhance, and maintain predictive and financial models supporting credit and capital decisions.
  • Identify and optimise underperforming models for greater accuracy and efficiency.
  • Design and implement advanced dashboards and data solutions in Qlik to support business reporting.
  • Analyse large datasets and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Education: A Degree in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Honours advantageous)
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years' experience in data analytics, data science, actuarial or quantitative modelling
    • Advanced QlikView / Qlik Sense skills – essential
    • Proven ability to build and improve predictive or financial models
  • Skills:
    • Strong skills in SQL, Python, or R
    • Independent, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills

Cape Town-based with own reliable transport (non-negotiable).
