Content Lead

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and produce high-quality visual content for various marketing channels, including digital, print, and social media. Must be able to do animation.
• Work with the Head of Marketing to manage and optimize marketing campaigns to ensure maximum ROI and brand visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
• Lead the creation and implementation of promotional materials, including social campaigns, banners, events, etc.
• Ability to brief and manage outputs of the creative content agency.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and design choices.
• Oversee the company's social media presence, ensuring consistent brand voice and engagement and initiate new ideas and recommendations to drive innovation.
• Track and report on marketing performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies to ensure the timely and quality delivery of marketing materials.
• Stay up to date with the latest marketing and design trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field.

•Proficiency in design and animation software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

•Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, and email marketing.

•Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

•Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail and a passion for design.

•Strong written and verbal communication skills.

•Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Examples of a day in the life at Weelee:

• Attend daily content production meetings ensuring high quality content output that is on brand and always striving for innovation. Provide feedback and direction on creative changes and ideation.
• Manage the monthly content calendar – drive ideas that pull through into instore. Ensure delivery that is fast and on brand.
• Collaborate with and work closely with the Weelee Content Creator on daily content creation.
• Generate new content ideas and concepts around activations, holidays, etc.
• Design updated email banners and monthly e-mailers.
• Design website updates and share designs with the development team.
• Design homepage banners using Figma.
• Design internal collateral and signage, including banners, car signs, wayfinding, activation merchandise, balloons, number plates, stickers, keyrings, license disk holders, vehicle branding, and staff uniforms.
• Design and coordinate retail marketing efforts, such as spin wheel updates, merchandise, flyers, hang tags, etc.
• Billboard mapping, briefing, and debriefing on billboard designs.
• Coordinate, map, and design streetpole ads.
• Design presentations and proposals.
• Liaise with suppliers on various projects, including OOH advertising.

Preferred Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in design and marketing manager roles
• Experience in the automotive industry or a similar fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• This is an in-office position, located at our head office.
