About the Role

We're looking for a
passionate, results-driven Director of Business Development
to lead our expansion in
South Africa and across Africa
.

You'll drive growth, build strategic partnerships, and introduce Optiontown's groundbreaking travel subscription products to
airlines, enterprises, and SMEs
.

What You'll Do:


• Drive sales growth and market penetration across Africa.


• Develop and manage partnerships with airlines and corporate travel buyers.


• Create and pitch customized business proposals.


• Negotiate and close strategic deals that create long-term value.


• Collaborate with global product and marketing teams to localize offerings.


• Track market trends and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.

What We're Looking For:


•
7+ years' experience
in sales, account management, marketing, or revenue management with a
leading airline or online travel agency
in Johannesburg.


• Strong
sales drive
, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.


• Deep understanding of
African travel markets and growth ecosystems
.


• Excellent
communication, presentation, and leadership
skills.


• Bachelor's/Master's in
Business, Marketing, or related field
.


• Familiarity with
AI-driven or subscription-based models
is a strong plus.
