Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for the role of Logistics Operations Manager located in Clanwilliam. The Logistics Operations Manager will oversee daily logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring efficient processes and systems. Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, managing resource allocation, overseeing inventory, analyzing key performance indicators, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The role requires collaboration with teams to optimize operational efficiency while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Operations Management and Supply Chain Management, with a strong understanding of logistics processes.

Strong Analytical Skills and the ability to monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators to drive operational improvements.

Commitment to delivering outstanding Customer Service while managing client relationships effectively.

Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Proficiency in logistics and operations-related software tools is a plus.

Strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to manage and lead a team effectively.

At least 5 years of experience in the logistics and transport industry with good knowledge of current market transport prices and a good network of subcontractors and contacts in the transport industry.
