Our client in Vereeniging is looking for a Buying Manager, responsible for strategic sourcing, selection and procurement of goods and / or services that meet the companies quality, cost and delivery requirements.

Salary negotiable depending on experience and qualification.

Minimum requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Materials Management or similar filed
  • 8 Years experience in a similar working environment
  • Working knowledge of Project Management principles and Supply Chain systems
  • SAP One experience (Essential)
  • Excellent MS Office skills - Excel at Advanced level
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Administrative processes
  • Responsible for Supplier and Contract Management, Procurement and Sourcing
  • Strategic procurement management
  • Process Improvement and Reporting
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure that supplier relationships are effectively managed, stock levels are optimized and purchasing decisions support operational needs and company profitability
