An opportunity has become available for an experienced and qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our team. The main functions will be fabrication of components from raw steel as per drawing specifications and to weld them. Assembly of machines / components as per general assemblies and installation of machinery.

Please note that this is a contract position. The duration will depend on operational requirements as we are a project–based firm.

Job Duties:

  • Fabricating of components as per the drawing
  • MIG / TIG / ARC welding of fabricated components
  • Bending of parts to be welded
  • Doing quality checks on machined components
  • Cutting of steel with acetylene torch / plasma cutter
  • Assembly of machines / components as per general assemblies
  • Installation of machinery

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Boilermaker/Welder
  • Previous experience in welding and boiler making field
  • Experience in industrial automation
  • Willing and able to work overtime

REMUNERATION:

Metal & Engineering Industries Bargaining Council (MEIBC) rates and benefits are offered.
