Network Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Supplier management: Identify responsible individuals and expedite problem resolution.
  • On-site management of routes: Produce route maps, conduct regular on-site inspections, generate inspection reports, and identify potential risks.
  • O&M: Track and resolve operational issues, regularly analyze operational data, and support the optimization and improvement of operational indicators. Support HQ O&M team to complete troubleshooting of the WAN network.
  • Collection of supplier resource information: Collect and integrate product information and resource status of suppliers in various regions, and continuously update the information.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of work experience in DC field. Experience as a network O&M engineer is preferred.
  • Work experience in a telecom company in South Africa is preferred, such as MTN, Vodacom, etc.
  • Understand datacom or transmission, such as BGP\OSPF\ISIS. CCNA or CCNP certificate is preferred.
  • Familiar with Huawei network equipment, such as OSN9800, OSN1800, OSN8800, NE40E, CE12800, etc.
  • Huawei network project experience is preferred.

Required Skills

  • Be familiar with the data center network O&M management process and have experience in promoting the implementation of related processes.
  • Self-driven and able to multitask. Rich project management and execution experience, good teamwork spirit, and communication skills.
