A reputable investment company in Pretoria is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to oversee its finance function. The company specializes in investment management, portfolio advisory, and financial growth strategies. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial stability, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities / Duties
  • Oversee the full finance function, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance across investment portfolios.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support investment decisions and business strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and relevant financial legislation.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Manage risk and ensure sound financial practices across all company operations.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom Accounting/Finance).
  • Professional qualification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in financial management, preferably in investment, finance, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced proficiency in accounting and financial management software, as well as MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
