Role: GenAI Video Lead
Location: Remote working (until further notice)
About the role:
Brandtech+ is expanding its team and are seeking a GenAI Video and Motion Graphics Lead to work with clients globally when on-site teams are unable to meet their needs.
What you will be doing:
Concept Development: Lead concept development of films, visual motion design and creative projects, ensuring alignment with brand and marketing strategies. Execution: Deliver a range of marketing materials such as social assets, cutdowns of TVCs, 2D animations, and motion graphics, from concept to completion. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with creative directors, art directors, and designers on scoping projects and defining timelines. Collaborate with local and global teams on entire part of or the entire project scope, as needed. Leadership: Provide leadership and expertise to the broader motion and video team, mentor and develop team members, and line manage junior members. Brand Guardianship: Act as a Brand Guardian on key accounts, offering expert guidance and decision-making to uphold brand integrity. Client Interaction: Present work internally and to clients, listen to and incorporate constructive feedback to meet project needs.What you need to be great in this role:
Leadership Skills: The be the go to for all video and motion design requests and to be at the forefront of new technologies. The exemplify video & motion craft, that push our output toward excellence. To ensure all team members comply with brand guidelines, common executional etiquette and to develop and mentor all members of our global Video and Motion Team. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe CC suite applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere. Knowledge of CapCut, Canva, Cinema 4D and/or other 3D software is advantageous. A high proficiency in existing GenAI tools such as, but not limited to: Runway, Google Veo, Kling AI, Sora, Luma is a must. Industry Experience: Worked on FMCG and/or global brands with a history of work in digital as well as broadcast. Must have at least 3 years of experience and an up-to-date showreel. Education: Minimum Matric/Grade 12 certificate; relevant degree or diploma. Personal Attributes: A team player with strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Passionate about digital trends and motion graphic/animation design.#LI-SJ1
