The
Senior SAP BTP Developer
will design, build, and deploy scalable and secure business applications on the
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
. The role involves end-to-end solution development, integration, performance tuning, and close collaboration with functional and technical teams in a hybrid work environment (Johannesburg-based, 3 days onsite).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications using
    SAP BTP services
    such as CAP, Workflow, Business Rules, API Management, and Integration Suite.
  • Build scalable and secure solutions following
    BTP best practices
    .
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Implement
    performance optimization, error handling, and logging
    mechanisms.
  • Create and maintain
    technical documentation
    and support various testing phases (unit, E2E, regression).

Core Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years
    of SAP development experience, with
    3+ years on SAP BTP
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    CAP, , Java, OData, and CDS
    .
  • Experience with
    SAP Cloud Application Programming Model
    and
    multi-target applications (MTAs)
    .
  • Familiarity with
    integration concepts
    (CPI, APIs) preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in
    Agile delivery
    and solid
    problem-solving abilities
    .
