Job Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to join our dynamic IT Systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, configuring, and customising the ServiceNow platform to meet the needs of the business. This includes working on various ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Contract Management, and Service Catalog, as well as developing and implementing custom applications, integrations, and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- ServiceNow Administration:
- Configure, maintain, and administer ServiceNow platform modules and applications.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform regular system health checks, patching, and updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, including incidents, problems, and system bugs.
- Development and Customization:
- Develop and maintain custom applications, business rules, UI policies, workflows, and scripts (e.g., Service Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, etc.).
- Customize ServiceNow features and modules to align with business requirements.
- Create and manage custom reports and dashboards to provide business insights.
- Build integrations with third-party systems and tools using REST, SOAP, or other integration methods.
- ServiceNow Upgrades and Enhancements:
- Lead the planning and execution of ServiceNow upgrades and new feature implementations.
- Evaluate new ServiceNow features and functionality and recommend improvements to current processes.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide support for ServiceNow users, troubleshooting technical issues and offering solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for end users and administrators.
- Conduct training sessions for users and stakeholders to ensure effective platform usage.
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer, including hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform configurations, scripting, and development.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Contract Management, Service Catalog, etc.).
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages: JavaScript, GlideScript, and ServiceNow-specific APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow integration tools (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.).
- Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Professional English command is a must
Desired skills and certifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
