Introduction

Client based in Boksburg, is seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, supporting production and fabrication processes, and ensuring all designs meet client and quality specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and detailed customer-specific technical drawings for fabrication and production.
  • Prepare drawings from PDFs, sketches, or sample parts provided by customers.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with company and industry standards.
  • Work closely with sales and production teams to ensure drawings are accurate and feasible.
  • Assist in dimensioning and verifying drawings for accuracy prior to production.
  • Update and maintain drawing records and design revisions.
  • Provide support in developing templates, layouts, and new product concepts.
  • Review designs to optimize material usage and improve production efficiency.
  • Liaise with clients where necessary to clarify technical requirements.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • Grade 12 Certificate (Matric).
  • Relevant Draughtsman qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within the sheet metal or fabrication industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Experience in SigmaNEST.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor advantageous.
  • Must reside in the East Rand area.
  • Must have own reliable transport.
