Junior Draughtsman

We have an opportunity available for a Junior Draughtsman in the Industria area in Boksburg.

**Responsibilities**:

- Revising and updating of existing product drawings
- Providing complete product drawings from scratch
- Assisting with drawing requirements for customers
- Providing drawings for new product development
- Implementing drawing office STD
- Drawing up of parts
- Detail drawings
- Compiling of project file, data-sheets and BOMS
- Completion of Parts or Assembly Drawings
- Keeping abreast with new drafting software and advancements and refine the designs made by the head of department
- Complete any tasks that may arise as instructed by your manager within reason

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or associate's degree in drafting, 4 year university degree in engineering or Red Seal trade test certificate.
- Drawing certificate
- Inventor certificate and experience is a requirement
- Vault experience is a requirement
- 1 - 2 years' drawing experience
- Minimum 2 years' manufacturing and mechanical engineering industry experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience on Inventor (3D, Autodesk, AutoCAD)
- Experience in mechanical components, product drawings is essential.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Computer literacy
- Document management (Record keeping, storage and assignment)
- Accurate data capturing

**Salary**: From R16,400.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Boksburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
