Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Short-Term Insurance Commercial Claims Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in commercial short-term insurance claims (not only personal lines), and is ready to contribute to a dynamic environment aligned with international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end administration of commercial short-term insurance claims: registration, assessment support, settlement and closure.
  • Liaise with brokers, insurers, service providers and internal teams to manage claim lifecycle effectively.
  • Monitor claim progress, follow up on outstanding items, gather evidence and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical records in line with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide high-quality client communication - clear, professional and timely updates.
  • Assist with process improvements and contribute to enhancing claims operations and workflows.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric (or equivalent); relevant tertiary qualification or insurance accreditation is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in claims administration within commercial short-term insurance.
  • Good knowledge of short-term insurance products, policy wordings and claim settlement processes.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent English (written & verbal).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
  • Able to work remotely or hybrid from South Africa with reliable internet and a quiet professional workspace.

Pay: R28 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
