- Claims Assessing experience with Death/Funeral/Retirement/Disability Claims
- Insurance Industry Experience
- MS Excel Experience
- To provide specialist advise and support in the generation and provision of reliable claims assessment activities, to support key deliverables and informed decision making, through the execution of predefined objectives as per agreed SOPs.
- Competency Definition: Knowledge and understanding of the range of insurance products and services available in the market
- Behavioural Indicators: Skilled in identifying which types of insurance products and services are appropriate to a range of contexts/situations (e.g. critical illness cover, disability cover, income protection, funeral benefits and plans, life protection, medical cover, policy protection, annuity products, and short-term insurance). Able to solve problems when applying specific terms, exclusions and conditions to a policy.
- Able to explain why a range of everyday situations would not be covered by a policy (e.g. due to an underwriting loading or exclusion).
- Skilled in resolving insurance issues in the context of individual, family and/or business offerings. Demonstrates sound knowledge of competitors comparable products and services and their pricing.
