Key Responsibilities

  • Key role in daily and month-end accounting over various sub-processes;
  • Refreshing of Hyperion daily reports;
  • Reviewing the bi-weekly cash position;
  • Preparation of the monthly VAT recon;
  • Hosting and minuting the monthly credit meetings;
  • Reconciling Kerzner Management accounts;
  • Conducting compliance audits periodically;
  • Implementation of controls and processes to address risks and any remediation plans required;
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts;
  • Analysis of monthly results & ad hoc assistance to heads of department;
  • Compiling data for Financial reporting to the BoD, KIM (head office) & external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' work experience in an accounting environment;
  • Knowledge and experience of statutory financial accounting and USALI essential;
  • Advanced computer literacy (advanced knowledge of MS Excel essential);
  • Comfortable interacting with internal clients at senior level;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Accuracy & attention to detail;
  • Deadline orientated
