Our client, a well-established company in the Construction industry, is looking for an experienced Tender Manager/Project Acquisition Specialist to drive growth, secure new contracts, and identify tender opportunities. Role Description

This is a contract role for a Tender Manager/Project Acquisition Specialist in Construction. The role is hybrid, located in Pretoria, with some work from home acceptable. The Tender Manager/Project Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new projects, generating leads, conducting market research, and providing excellent customer service. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing market trends, communicating with potential clients, and developing strategies to generate new business opportunities. The Project Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and securing new business opportunities, tenders, and contracts within the construction industry. This role focuses on expanding the company's project pipeline and client base by leveraging industry networks, relationships, and market intelligence.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills and Market Research experience.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
  • Experience in Lead Generation.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in Project Acquisition or Tender Management within the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of securing projects, contracts, and tenders.
  • Strong understanding of procurement and contracting processes (public and private sector).
  • Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
