We are looking for a
Project Planner
to join our EPC team in Bela Bela. The candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing project schedules for large-scale solar PV projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards, providing continuous support to the project manager and the team to ensure the achievement of all objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop the project baseline schedule and obtain approval from clients and stakeholders using tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
2. Prepare and maintain recovery and revised schedules, providing regular project progress updates. (weekly or monthly)
3. Prepare and updates de S-curves for all the disciplines
4. Generate reports, dashboards, and presentations to clearly communicate project performance and deviations to stakeholders.
5. Review and provide feedback on subcontractor schedules to ensure consistency and quality.
6. Support the Project Manager with progress tracking, reports, KPIs, risk analysis, deeply study of the critical path and milestone achievement.
7. Earned Value analysis
8. Development of detailed L4 (weekly) and L5(daily) schedule to control and monitoring the L3 activities included in the general project schedule

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
2. 5 - 8 years of experience in project planning or reporting within the construction or renewable energy industry (solar PV preferred).
3. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
4. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to automate and optimize data management processes.
5. Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Previous experience with EPC solar projects in South Africa, ideally under the REIPPPP
2. Project Management certification (
   PMP
   or equivalent).
3. Knowledge of HSE requirements, grid connection, and commissioning processes for solar PV plants.
4. Fluency in English; additional languages such as Afrikaans or Spanish will be considered an advantage.
