Environmental Officer
.

Main Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the HSE Manager to ensure compliance on site with Cox's environmental management system policies, objectives, client requirements, standards, procedures, and documentation, in accordance with ISO 14001.
• Monitor and follow up on applicable environmental legal requirements, including the necessary environmental permits for the site.
• Support the HSE Manager in conducting inspections of environmental conditions on site.
• Assist the HSE Manager in monitoring and controlling activity programs and operational control measures.
• Monitor and follow up on training provided to both internal personnel and external contractors.
• Ensure proper document control within the environmental area by reviewing and archiving records and evidence required for the final project dossier.
• Support in the registration of incidents.

Requirements:

• Candidate with academic background in environmental studies and at least two years of experience in environmental management on construction sites.
• High level of English proficiency.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation, environmental permitting, waste management, operational control, and ISO 14001 standard.
