About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our Powder Coating Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, supervising, and coordinating all powder coating activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:


• Supervise and manage the powder coating production team.


• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily work activities.


• Ensure efficient use of powder and ovens.


• Maintain production quality and quantity standards.


• Monitor financial performance of the department against company goals.


• Maintain and control machinery usage in the powder coating section.


• Track team competencies, provide leadership, and support development.


• Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards.


• Ensure PPE compliance and uphold housekeeping standards (5S).


• Monitor attendance, lateness, and absenteeism.

Requirements:


• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in steel fabrication/metal production.


• Powder coating experience preferred.


• Ability to service and maintain equipment.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Fabritrak advantageous.


• Supervisory experience.


• Valid driver's license.

Education & Qualification:


• Matric.


• Diploma/Degree in Engineering related qualification with relevant trade certificates.


• Supervisory qualification.
