Caregiver/Paediatric

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist in the daily care of a, 16 year old boy with cerebral palsy who has disabilities. Candidate must have knowledge of Paediatric care

(Paediatrics is the branch of medicine that involves the medical care of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. The field encompasses various specializations, including general paediatrics, developmental paediatrics, and paediatric surgery, among others.)

The caregiver will provide support with personal care, health needs, and recreational activities, ensuring his comfort, safety, and well-being.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily feeding and ensure proper nutrition.
  • Administer and monitor medication as prescribed.
  • Engage in play and recreational activities to keep him stimulated and happy.
  • Support with exercise and mobility routines.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing and grooming.
  • Assist with changing clothes and hygiene needs.
  • Maintain a caring, respectful, and patient approach at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous caregiving experience preferred (but not always required).
  • Kind, patient, and attentive personality.
  • Reliable and trustworthy.

Work Location: In person

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R4 500,00 - R5 000,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Johannesburg, Gauteng: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)

Experience:

  • Paediatric Care ( Cerebral palsy ): 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Required)
