We are seeking an experienced
Senior Statistical Programmer
to join our client's clinical research team.
Key Responsibilities
Dataset Development & Validation
- Develop and validate CDISC-compliant datasets (SDTM & ADAM) for clinical trial studies using SAS
- Create SDTM specifications aligned with current SDTM standards
- Create ADAM specifications aligned with ADAM standards and industry best practices
- Develop and validate Tables, Listings and Figures (TLFs) for clinical trial data presentation
Programming & Analysis
- Develop, validate and maintain complex statistical programs using SAS, R, or similar platforms for data manipulation, analysis and reporting in clinical trials
- Perform SAS programming and quality control (QC) of analysis datasets, TFLs and standard tools following company standard data models and user requirements
- Conduct statistical analyses using various procedures and methodologies
- Integrate data across multiple studies in support of Clinical Study Synopsis (CSS) and Clinical Study Evaluation (CSE)
Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate closely with biostatisticians and cross-functional teams to interpret study requirements and ensure accurate implementation of statistical analyses
- Prepare and review Statistical Analysis Plans (SAPs), programming specifications and derived datasets to meet regulatory standards
- Create, manage and maintain programming specifications for analysis datasets utilising company tools and methodologies
- Support the creation and validation of regulatory submission requirements, including annotated CRFs, data export files, and documents
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry regulations, including ICH/GCP guidelines, throughout the programming process
- Maintain adherence to CDISC standards and regulatory requirements across all deliverables
Leadership & Coordination
- Assist in coordinating programming activities and communicating shifting timelines and project milestones
- Mentor junior programmers and assist in training team members on programming techniques and best practices
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Master's degree or advanced degree is highly desirable
Experience
- 3-5 years of end-to-end statistical programming experience
- Proven track record as a statistical programmer within the clinical research industry
- Strong knowledge of statistical methodologies and their application in clinical trials
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SAS programming
(essential) - Experience with R or Python is advantageous
- Familiarity with clinical data management systems
- Strong understanding of CDISC standards (SDTM, ADAM, CDASH)
- Knowledge of regulatory submission requirements and processes
