Mine in Hotazel NC is looking for a Resource Geologist SALARY: R900K PAWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ResourceGeologist to join our mining operation. The purpose of thisrole is to provide geological expertise in the development,maintenance, and interpretation of resource models thatguide safe, efficient, and economically viable mining. TheResource Geologist plays a key role in ore body delineation,grade control, and reconciliation, ensuring that miningactivities align with the geological model and strategic mineplan. This position supports cross-functional collaborationwith the mine planning, survey, and production teams, andensures that resource estimation and reporting adhere toindustry standards and compliance requirements.RESPONSIBILITY:Develop, update, and maintain 3D geological andresource models using appropriate software• Conduct geological interpretations based on drillholedata, mapping, sampling, and geophysical results• Plan, coordinate, and supervise grade control drillingand sampling activities to ensure quality andrepresentativeness• Ensure accurate and timely data capture, validation,and management of geological databases• Perform resource estimations and classifications inline with industry standards• Collaborate with mine planning and production teamsto ensure alignment between resource models andshort- to long-term mine plans• Monitor and report on reconciliation between resourcemodels, grade control results, and actual production• Prepare technical reports, presentations, anddocumentation for internal use and externalcompliance reporting• Provide geological support and recommendations forexploration, pit expansion, or mine developmentactivities• Promote and adhere to health, safety, andenvironmental standards in all geological activities>   Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Geology,GeologicalEngineering, or a related Earth Science field (Honoursor Master's degree advantageous).• A minimum of 5- 8years' experience in a resourcegeology role,preferably within mining environment.• Must be physically fit and able to work in a hot, dusty,and physically demanding environment.Skills:Minimum 3–5 years' experience in an open cast or undergroundProficiency in geological and mine planning software• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in datahandling, sampling procedures, and reporting• Solid understanding of geostatistics and resourceestimation methodologies, including variography andkriging
