Site Supervisor

Our client
in the energy sector is looking for a Site Supervisor to join their team in the
Upington in the Northern Cape. The purpose for this position is to supervise project
activities on site. The duration of the project is for 3 months. Must be registered
with SACPCMP and
must be available to start immediately.

Duties
and Responsibilities:

• Supervise
  and monitor subordinates and the Power Station
• Reporting
  on all the logistics on where they need to services the sites.
• Overseeing
  the project
• Compete
  Risk Assessment for work carries out on site.
• Compliance
  to due date performance
• Collect
  relevant paper work (timesheets, invoices, etc) and submit to Project manager.
• Conduct
  (toolbox talks and monitor housekeeping)
• Reporting
  figures on site.
• Personal
  training and development
• Create a
  culture change through good IR
• Resolve
  issues raised by employees on site
• Attend
  training courses as required
• Committed
  approach to Safety, Health and Environmental requirements
•  Carryout work as per the management
  instruction
• Ensure that
  subordinates perform their duties safely
• Performs
  toolbox talks with the employees, together with the Safety Officer in
  conducting incident investigations
• Assist the
  Safety Officer in conduction incident investigation

Minimum
requirement:

• Grade 12
• Certificate
  in supervisory or any relate qualification in management.
• 3-5 years
  relevant experience within the energy sector.
• Conflict management
• Good communication and Interpersonal skills
• Report writing skills
• Planning and coordinating skills
• Knowledge of OHSA, BCEA, ISO 9001:14001 &
  18001
• Computer literacy.
