SaaS Sales Champion at Cape Town Startup

ShoppingFeeder is a leading SaaS (Software as a Service) startup based in beautiful Cape Town. We help hundreds of online retailers around the world grow their businesses by providing them with high-quality data feeds. They use these data feeds to kick-start successful performance, affiliate and other inbound marketing campaigns. In addition to our fully self-service tool, we use our strength as a leading data feed provider to create, launch and manage successful marketing campaigns for our clients through our ShoppingFeeder Agency. Our customers include leading retailers in South Africa, USA, UK, Canada and other major markets. ShoppingFeeder is a Google Premier Partner.
To help us maintain our rapid growth, we're looking for a driven, smart, savvy, successful sales rep. The successful candidate will join our growing team in our fast-paced, action-packed environment. The successful candidate will drive new account acquisition in international markets to cement ShoppingFeeder's position as a world-leader in data feed management, distribution and shopping campaign management.
At ShoppingFeeder we pride ourselves on excellent customer service, continuous improvement and the regular ability to surprise and delight our customers. As a sales rep, you'll be the face of the company. You will be responsible for finding valuable new clients to introduce to our easy-to-use software and campaign management services.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in:
- Sourcing leads
- Qualifying leads
- Building relationships with merchants and learn how we can better serve them, providing feedback to our team
- Regularly identifying new sales opportunities
- Collaborating closely with teams across the company and at times work independently
- Establish and tweak a sales script that works for you, in collaboration with the team
- Creative thinking in order to bring new ideas that solve tough challenges
Prerequisites:
- 2-3 years direct sales experience
- Familiarity with CRM tools
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce (running your own store is a bonus)
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Confidence to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
Extra bonus points for:
- SaaS sales experience
- Google Ads experience, including certifications
- E-commerce experience (running your own store gets extra bonus points)
