Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our team in Durbanville. This is a full-time hybrid role, which allows for a combination of working from our Durbanville office and remotely. Responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, processing payroll, assisting with tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves collaborating with team members to support clients in achieving their financial objectives.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, accounting, and financial analysis
  • Experience in tax preparation, compliance, and related laws or regulations
  • Familiarity with payroll administration and accounts reconciliation
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA(SA), CPA, or equivalent preferred
  • Prior work experience in financial accounting; experience in advisory services or a similar industry is an advantage
