About the Role: Why This Job Exists

We are seeking a strategic, solutions-oriented Head of Operations (EMEA) to drive operational excellence, enable scalable growth, and support the success of our client delivery and commercial functions across the region.

This is a pivotal leadership role focused on process optimisation, business performance, resourcing, and commercial oversight. You'll partner closely with the Head of Delivery, Finance Director, Client Services, and People & Culture to ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration and operational rigour as the agency continues to scale.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Operational Strategy & Business Performance

• Own and optimise end-to-end operational processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and profitability across the EMEA business.
• Work with Finance and Client Services to monitor project margins, profitability, and resource utilisation.
• Identify and drive initiatives that reduce operational friction, improve workflows, and support high-performance culture.

Resource & Capacity Planning

• Lead workforce planning, resourcing strategy, and talent allocation to support business demand.
• Collaborate with Delivery and Client Services to anticipate and solve resourcing challenges.
• Oversee freelancer management, including contracts, costs, and onboarding in partnership with Talent and Delivery.

Process & Systems Optimisation

• Review and enhance tools, systems, and ways of working to ensure consistency, quality, and accountability.
• Establish best practices for project operations, budget tracking, and internal reporting.
• Act as process owner for key agency operations and workflows.

Commercial Operations

• Partner with Finance to support forecasting, commercial modelling, and reporting across regions and functions.
• Lead contract and vendor management, ensuring compliance and cost control.
• Support Business Development with pitch ops, commercial input, and scalable SOW frameworks.

Leadership & People Management

• Directly manage the Operations Manager (EMEA), setting goals, coaching performance, and ensuring alignment with business priorities.
• Be a visible, trusted leader across the agency, championing operational excellence and a solutions mindset.
• Build strong partnerships with leadership and functional heads to align on priorities and business needs.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability.

Reporting Structure

• Reports into: EMEA Managing Director
• Manages: Operations Manager (EMEA)
• Key stakeholders: Head of Delivery, EMEA Finance Director, CFO,  Head of Client Services, Talent, HR & Business Development Leads
