Company Description

Altius Reach is a data-enabled, AI-native consulting firm specialising in serving private equity funds and their portfolio companies. We partner with clients on Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) and broader investment process requirements. From our base in Cape Town, we run high-paced, data-driven diligence projects for funds in Europe, the UK, and the US, building a new model for global consulting from South Africa.

Founded and led by a former MBB team, Altius Reach operates with a strong emphasis on excellence, collaboration, and measurable impact. We are expanding our team and are looking for a full-time Consultant/Junior Manager, based in Cape Town, to support our Commercial Due Diligence workstreams. 

Key responsibilities

  • Own major workstreams, run interviews, manage research and analytics, and shape synthesis
  • Translate complex client questions into clear problem statements and structured workplans
  • Manage and optimise the end-to-end Commercial Due Diligence research process

Key requirements

  • Strong background in management consulting, private equity, strategy, analytics, or similar
  • Experience: 2+ years in management consulting
    or

4+ years in a relevant strategy / analytics role (PE, corp strategy, etc.)
- Experience in Commercial Due Diligence strongly preferred
- Sharp analytical capability and comfort interpreting imperfect data
- Structured problem-solving and strategic thinking under pressure
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Collaborative approach with high performance standards
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a bias for action
- Broad curiosity across sectors (engineering services, tech, logistics, healthcare, B2B services, etc.)
- Based in Cape Town, South Africa
