We're a PropTech company building innovative software solutions for the property industry. We're looking for a QA/Testing Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts and scale our testing capabilities as we grow.

The Role

Lead our QA team to ensure high-quality delivery of PropTech solutions including property management systems, tenant portals, and real estate analytics. You'll manage a team of QA engineers while maintaining hands-on involvement in complex testing challenges. You will need solid experience with both manual and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Manage and develop a team of QA engineers and automation specialists
  • Recruit talent and build scalable QA processes
  • Set team goals and quality metrics aligned with business objectives

Quality Strategy

  • Develop QA strategies for our PropTech product portfolio
  • Establish testing standards and best practices
  • Drive automation initiatives and CI/CD integration
  • Ensure comprehensive coverage across web, mobile, and API testing

Technical Oversight

  • Oversee test automation framework development
  • Manage testing of PropTech-specific features (property data, payments, integrations)
  • Lead performance, security, and accessibility testing efforts
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on quality requirements

Process & Communication

  • Implement quality gates and release criteria
  • Track and report on quality metrics to senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis
  • Coordinate testing for major releases and integrations

Requirements

Experience

  • ISTQB certification
  • 5+ years in software testing and QA
  • 3+ years managing QA teams
  • Previous SaaS experience

Technical Skills

  • API testing, postman, Insomnia, etc.
  • Automation: Selenium, Cypress, API testing tools
  • CI/CD tools and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Programming: Java, JavaScript, Grails

Leadership Skills

  • Proven ability to lead and develop technical teams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management
  • Project management experience
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking

Nice to Have

  • PropTech or real estate technology experience
  • Performance testing tools (JMeter, k6)
  • Security testing knowledge
