Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Social Work Intern located in Rustenburg. Responsibilities include supporting clients during sessions, conducting assessments, collaborating with team members to develop personalized care plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting in community outreach initiatives. The intern will contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment while gaining valuable real-world experience in social work.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of social work principles, community engagement, and client support
  • Ability to conduct assessments, document findings, and maintain client records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse individuals and teams
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively under supervision
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and support the mission of Shiluva Wellness
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Prior experience in wellness or community service settings is an advantage
