DCS Engineer
.

Functions of the job:

  • Meet production targets
  • Delivery and adherence to management of change objectives and procudures
  • Participate in decisions regarding new improvement areas
  • Make justifications for New CAPEX
  • Participation in regular meetings with senior subordinates to discuss work progress, schedules, problems, interferences, priorities
  • Keep updated and sorted all technical information related to ITC and Control
  • Provide inputs to the preparation of plant operating budget and cost control systems
  • Provide inputs to the Root Cause Analysis
  • Provide routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and documentation for DCS. Ensure troubleshooting and maintenance activities are carried out according to O&M procedure
  • Coordinate DCS configuration and maintenance, focusing on efficient and effective compliance with the daily plant operating routine, scheduled predictive and forced outage/breakdown maintenance plans to ensure that plant DCS is properly maintained.
  • Perform frequent on site inspections to ensure proper system/ equipment operation and check on as applicable any contract/ O&M staff technician activities
  • As applicable rise review work permits for each job performed on the DCS IT systems equipment as required by O&M procedures
  • Review DCS equipment spare parts lists and recommend parts inventory and stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 4 Years of experience in performance SCADA in any Industry.
