Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager/Consultant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the safety workwear and footwear industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong customer relationships, and providing expert consultancy on our range of safety products. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, a deep understanding of the industry, and the ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives in revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the safety workwear and footwear market.
  • Manage and expand the existing client portfolio, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to clients, presenting product offerings and providing industry-specific advice.

Product Expertise & Consultation:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's product range and industry standards related to safety workwear and footwear.
  • Offer expert consultancy to clients, advising on the best product solutions based on their safety requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in safety workwear and footwear.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries (e.g., construction, manufacturing, oil and gas).
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with the products and services provided.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyse market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasted revenue.
  • Contribute insights to product development teams to align offerings with market demand.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and supply chain to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote the company and its products.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the safety workwear and footwear industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive market.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards relevant to workwear and footwear.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated sales territory.
  • Valid driver's license.
