Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa PKF (VGA) Knysna Inc Full time R174 000 - R204 000 per year

Duties include:

· Compilation of Financial Statements

· Processing of books on accounting software for clients

· Liaison with clients and SARS

·General filing and admin

·General accounting functions including preparation of monthly management accounts

·Submission of VAT and EMP returns

·Processing of payroll monthly

·Review of Junior bookkeepers work and assist with training if needed

·Ensuring deadlines are adhered too

· Performing Tax calculations

Required qualifications:

· Completed or nearly completed B Comm (Accounting) degree

Required experience:

· Completed SAICA articles or at least three years' experience compiling financial statements and working in a bookkeeping role

· Solid knowledge of IFRS for SME's

· Experience working on Caseware will be beneficial.

·Excellent skills required on software like Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Sage Accounting, Xero, Pastel and payroll software

Required skills:

· Capable of working independently

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Excellent command of English written and spoken

· Deadline driven.

· Attention to detail.

· Able to take initiative.

· Strong administration skills

· Computer literate

· Must be able to communicate directly with clients in a professional and confident manner.

· Strong analytical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R14 500,00 - R17 000,00 per month
