Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Staff to join their growing team. With a new store opening in Somerset West,they are looking for experienced individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Job Type: Full Time/Permanent

Location: Somerset West, Cape Town

Work Place: Onsite

Working hours: Somerset Mall is open from 9am – 7pm Monday to Saturday, and 9am – 5pm on Sundays and Public Holidays. 

Candidates are required to work 24 shifts per month. They will alternate with each other and work different shifts daily.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Afrikaans and English (both spoken and written).
  • Minimum 5 years of retail experience.
  • Supervisory or management experience will be a strong advantage.
  • Someone who demonstrate reliability and professionalism.
  • Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Candidates should be able to start immediately or by 20 November 2025 (Somerset West).

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive in-store experience.
  • Assist customers with product selection, sales transactions, and after-sales support.
  • Maintain store presentation, cleanliness, and product displays.
  • Handle point-of-sale operations accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
  • Contribute to achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Support the Store Supervisor or Manager in daily operations.
