Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Java Backend Engineer to join their team. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: 
  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot / Micronaut / Quarkus).
  • Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems for cloud-based environments.
  • Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and fault tolerance.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior developers and help raise the overall technical bar of the team.
Job Experience and Key Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, testing, and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative, proactive mindset.
