This role is based in Mokopane, Limpopo

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Ensuring adherence to site-specific and overall Valterra Platinum Technical standards.
• Multi-disciplinary team management
• Strategic Asset management including planned maintenance and common reliability practices
• Safety Management
• Labour structure, leave and training management
• Effective Budgeting Controls (OPEX and CAPEX)
• Management of Major shutdowns
• Oversee plant projects (within limit of authority)
• Ensuring adherence to Legal compliance
• Manage plant rotables and spares
• Carry out 1st ,2nd and 3rd line maintenance at the plant

This role is at a Band 6 level reporting to the Section Engineering Manager.

• Engineering related degree/ diploma – BEng Engineering
• Government Certificate of competency in Mines and Works

Experience, Knowledge and skills

• Five years post Engineering qualification experience
• Plant experience will be advantageous (Gyratory and cone Crushers, conveyors, HPGR)
• Proficient in computer literacy – Microsoft office
• Proficiency in English
