Position Overview:

As a Junior Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing tax submissions, and handling client accounts. This role requires strong experience in accounting practices and the ability to work independently. You'll have the opportunity to further develop your skills and grow professionally within a supportive team.

• BCom in Accounting or equivalent qualification is beneficial

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in an accounting practice is non-negotiable

• Completed SAIPA articles are beneficial, but not a requirement
  

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Knowledge of Xero, Pastel, and/or Draftworx, is beneficial.

• E-Filing (SARS) experience is a requirement.

• Experience with SARS systems and tax compliance

• Must be able to work independently, handle clients' books, and prepare financial statements.

• Preparing full financial statements and client reports

• Managing VAT calculations and submissions

• Handling client accounts and ensuring accurate bookkeeping

• Assisting with the finalization of management accounts and year-end financial statements

• Preparing tax returns (SARS-related) and ensuring compliance with tax laws

• Working with various accounting platforms like Xero, Pastel, and Draftworx is a requirement.

• Ensuring effective communication with clients and team members

Pos Beskrywing:

As n Junior Rekeningkundige Klerk sal jy verantwoordelik wees vir die opstel van finansiële state, die bestuur van belastingaangewese indienings en die hantering van kliëntrekeninge. Hierdie rol vereis 'n sterk ervaring in rekeningkundige praktyke en die vermoë om selfstandig te werk. Dit bied 'n geleentheid om jou vaardighede verder te ontwikkel en professioneel te groei binne 'n ondersteunende span.

• BCom in Rekeningkunde of gelykwaardige kwalifikasie is voordelig

• Minstens 1 jaar relevante ervaring in 'n rekeningkundige praktyk is nie onderhandelbaar nie

• Voltooide SAIPA-artikels is voordelig, maar nie 'n vereiste nie
  

• Sterk organisatoriese en kommunikasievaardighede

• Vermoë om effektief as deel van 'n span te werk

• Vaardigheid in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Kennis van Xero, Pastel, en/of Draftworx is voordelig

• Ervaring met SARS stelsels en belasting nakoming

• Moet in staat wees om selfstandig te werk, kliente se boeke te hanteer en finansiële state op te stel

• Opstel van volle finansiële state en kliëntverslae

• Hanteer van BTW berekeninge en indienings

• Bestuur van kliëntrekeninge en verseker akkuraatheid van boekhouding

• Assisteer met die finalisering van bestuursrekeningkunde en jaarlikse finansiële state

• Voorbereiding van belastingopgawes (SARS-betrekkinge) en verseker nakoming van belastingwette

• Werk met verskeie rekeningkundige platforms soos Xero, Pastel, en Draftworx

• Verseker effektiewe kommunikasie met kliënte en spanlede

• Handhaaf 'n professionele omgewing en positiewe maatskappy kultuur
