Audit Committee Member

Applications are hereby invited for independent, suitably qualified persons to serve as members on the Audit Committees of the Western Cape Government (WCG). The WCG has 3 Cluster Audit Committees, i.e. the Governance, Innovation and Culture Cluster, the Jobs Cluster and the Wellbeing Cluster.
Audit Committee Members are appointed in their personal capacities as members of the committees in accordance with the provisions of the PFMA, and not as employees. Appointment will be for a three-year term and remuneration will be in accordance with a tariff approved by the relevant Accounting Officer. Please note that employees of National, Provincial and Local Government or Institutions, Agencies and Entities of
Government serving on Commissions or Committees of Inquiry or Audit Committees are not entitled to additional remuneration.
