Salesforce Developer
We are currently seeking a Salesforce Developer to join our rapidly growing scale-up agency focused in the Salesforce space. We are Summit Certified Salesforce CRM specialists, designing and building marketing, sales, customer service and analytics solutions for Enterprise to SMBs. Our point of difference is our team's 50+ years of in-house experience, delivering double-digit growth. Together, we find and deliver the optimum solution to meet our customers' immediate and long-term needs.
At Trigg, we actively embrace the use of Artificial Intelligence across all aspects of problem solving, including code design and development. We expect our developers to be highly proficient not only in Salesforce technical skills but also in prompt engineering – knowing how to craft effective inputs, avoid bias, and recognise common logical pitfalls. Experience with advanced AI coding tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot is considered essential. Demonstrating strong AI-assisted development and prompt-engineering capabilities is as important as demonstrating the ability to write robust code independently.
You will report to the Technical Lead and will be responsible for converting business requirements into Salesforce solutions that deliver against our customers' objectives. You must be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels, open and transparent in your approach, and relentless in evaluating and delivering ROI. The opportunity suits a candidate with an entrepreneurial drive, ready to take the next big step in their career.
We are a proud member of Pledge 1% and the Salesforce Talent Alliance. We are an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity in our environment.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Transform business requirements into technical specifications – design, develop, test, and implement high-quality Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, integrations, and automations.
- Design, build, and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, Visualforce pages, and other Salesforce development assets.
- Leverage AI coding tools effectively to accelerate development, while adhering to Trigg's acceptable-use AI policy and best practice.
- Apply prompt-engineering skills to maximise value from AI tooling, ensuring unbiased, reliable, and high-quality outputs.
- Develop and optimise Salesforce integrations with external systems using APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware, and other integration tools.
- Implement and manage scalable and secure solutions for user provisioning, role hierarchies, permission sets, and sharing rules through code and configuration.
- Create, manage, and enhance custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows, and automation, ensuring solutions are robust and aligned with best practice.
- Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, customers, and internal teams to deliver technical designs, prototypes, and proofs of concept.
- Accurately estimate development tasks, plan and prioritise work within the release schedule, and deliver code and configurations on time with high quality.
- Perform unit testing, participate in regression testing, and collaborate on functional testing by devising test plans and ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code following established best practice, including source control, versioning, and deployment protocols.
- Support deployment activities across environments (Development, QA, UAT, Production), including managing metadata and data migration through tools like Salesforce CLI, GearSet, and Change Sets.
- Contribute to solution documentation, user manuals, and technical training materials to support deployments and handover to end users.
- Participate actively in project meetings, sprint planning, and technical stand-ups, ensuring alignment across project teams.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce platform developments, AI advancements, and best practice to continually improve delivery quality and system performance.
- Support pre-sales and consulting activities through technical feasibility assessments, scoping, and by building and delivering technical demos or prototypes.
- Collaborate with offshore development teams to scale delivery capacity and ensure coding standards and project milestones are maintained.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
You:

- Salesforce Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer, CPQ Specialist, Industries CPQ Developer, MuleSoft Developer I, JavaScript Developer I, and other Salesforce certifications (e.g. Sales, Service, Experience Cloud) are highly beneficial.
