We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Group Financial Manager to lead financial management across our mining and exploration operations. The role combines financial leadership, operational oversight, and team development to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis to optimize performance and support business expansion, capital investments, and project feasibility.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost control tailored to mining operations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with local and international financial, tax, and mining-specific regulations.
  • Maintain robust financial controls, risk management, and reporting standards.
  • Manage relationships with investors, banks, and strategic partners to enhance financial positioning and access to capital.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering high performance and accountability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights supporting operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, identify opportunities, and proactively solve financial and operational challenges.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as directed by the Group CFO.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) designation with a degree in Finance (Mandatory).

Experience:

  • 5–7 years of financial management experience, preferably within the mining sector (diamond mining) (Minimum).
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, fiscal policies, and tax laws applicable to the mining industry (Required).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial operations and strategy in a complex, project-based environment (Required).
  • Working knowledge of Caseware (Preferred).

Requirements / Skills:

  • Proven experience in multi-national reporting, foreign currency transactions, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in investor relations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
