Qualifications & Experience:
  • Accounting qualification required
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, preferably in a similar industry (FMCG)
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and statutory compliance

  • Pastel Accounting

  • Microsoft Office Suite
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and managing financial statements for various departments up to trial balance
  • Performing management accounting and cost control functions
  • Submitting all statutory returns and corresponding with SARS
  • Ensuring compliance with internal audit procedures
  • Maintaining the asset register and monitoring asset transactions
  • Managing ad-hoc financial tasks, including payments and cash flow
  • Weekly reporting of financial figures to management
  • Supporting a small administrative team and collaborating across departments
  • Maintaining accuracy, attention to detail, and performing under pressure in a fast-paced environment
